The Familiar Taste of Poison 🥀🌹OUT NOW🌹🥀

This coming weekend will mark five years since my dad passed away. While it is a painful subject for obvious reasons, I try and remain grateful for the experience and the lessons that came with it. I think attempting to fully conceptualize the balance between life and death is vital to the creation process. Understanding that our time on Earth is finite is the best reminder to try and create impossibly cool things, even when it sometimes feels daunting and inevitably pointless.

These songs are for anyone who feels uncomfortably defined by something that you can’t control. For anyone who has had that morning where you feel like life starts over with a new lens on your eyes, a slight ringing in your ears, and that familiar taste of poison in your mouth.
